Week 2 was more hectic than week 1 cause of the assignment and presentations required by the marketing prof -Prof Tu.
Prof Tu asked: What do you guys think the American government is wasting the most money on?
We said: Elections. Iraq war.
It was actually space exploration. And he said that females buying clothes/shopping/beautifying themselves is actually very similar to space exploration - throwing money into space.
He's a tough prof. Told us he has had 2 cries in class, but was "expectedly" nice to us.
He's still the best prof among the three we had, despite all the work. No pain, no gain i guess.
In-Class Action
Nikki and her gp. Daryl doing his stuff.
Brother Soo. haha.
Ma Li~~~ Who presented well.
SJ. Cool, calm and short of time. So it was a chop chop thing.
Lulu. Looking all serious.
Miss Q...haha. "Pls give me a minute" and the prof laughed at her frankness
Erm. That would be Janet in the midst giving me a comforting pat on my head. Picture obviously not taken by me. Photographer was trying to catch Janet. Love birds by the road side...huh huh. Knowing that. I'm out to destroy the picture. Muhaha. Kidding.
My group leader, jesse. Big blue eyes.
That's the first prof. Taught us economics.
Singaporeans kinda lost out during presentations as our English naturally sounded more monotonous compared to the Americans. But we all pulled through! Pat on the back there. As jesse use to say "good job team. good job"
~We had to settle our own lunch between lessons. Called pizza on one of the days. Pizzas in China are HUGE.
~
Killing time during lunch break outside the classroom
Thinking man and eh...i don't know what.
Dysfunctional rock band, maybe? Nikki's plays the part well. Ah huh. Bet you didn't know this.
Emo shot.
SJ retrieving her shoe from the pond. Brother soo said something irritating again. SJ threw her shoe at brother soo. It missed him and it landed in water. haha.
It was very windy that day. (look at the grass and our hair) Peking weather is everything rolled into one. It can be as hot as Sg in the afternoons and the next day is freaking cold with gusting winds. It was an experience.
